Established in 1970, Clarion Malaysia Sdn Bhd has a rich history as the first off-shore manufacturing plant of Clarion Co. Ltd. and a pioneer in the industrialization of Penang. Specializing in In-Vehicle-Infotainment (IVI) systems, the company supplies automotive products globally to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Located in Bayan Lepas, Clarion Malaysia has grown from a team of 40 to over 350 employees and expanded its operations to include collaborations on printed circuit boards and an advanced Research and Development facility opened in 1993.

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IPQA Engineer for a full-time, on-site position located in Bayan Lepas. The role involves ensuring the quality of in-process production through inspections, monitoring manufacturing processes, and addressing non-conformance issues promptly. The IPQA Engineer will ensure compliance with quality standards, perform data analysis for process improvement, and collaborate closely with production, process and product teams to uphold product quality.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in quality assurance procedures, methodologies, and standards.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and techniques to evaluate in-process productions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, especially for addressing non-conformance issues and driving improvements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with production, process, product, and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with automotive industry quality standards is an advantage.
• Educational background in Engineering with 1-2 years working experience within quality field in electronics manufacturing industry.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate and thorough evaluations.
• Experience with continuous process improvement and data-driven decision-making is preferred.
