IT APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

job Summary

Own IT application development and digital transformation initiatives for the JKT organization: design and maintain internal business systems across all departments, automate manual workflows through RPA and scripting, and support AI-driven features such as sentiment analysis and document processing.

This is an individual-contributor role that works closely with business units and coordinates as needed with JHQ, ASIA DX, and other subsidiaries.

Typical projects include automating recurring reports and notifications, browser-based automation of internal approval workflows, and AI-assisted data extraction/analysis for operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• In-house Software Development: Design, develop, and implement in-house applications (web-based, mobile-based, and desktop-based) to support business processes and improve efficiency.
• RPA Development (Power Automate & UiPath): Develop and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) workflows using Power Automate and UiPath to automate repetitive business tasks and enhance productivity.
• Software Troubleshooting & Bug Fixing: Diagnose, analyze, and resolve application issues or system bugs promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Software Maintenance & Operational Support: Perform regular maintenance, updates, and optimization of existing systems and applications provide technical support to end-users and operations teams.
• System Documentation & Version Control: Maintain up-to-date documentation for applications, including source code, change logs, and deployment records, to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, test solutions, and propose innovative improvements.

MUST TO HAVE:

Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience, provided the candidate has strong fundamentals in SQL and scripting and is comfortable learning new tools quickly.

Database skills: Proficient in SQL, including queries and stored procedures.

Backend scripting: Working knowledge of backend scripting (Node.js, PHP, or similar) and understanding of REST APIs.

Automation tools: Familiarity with basic RPA/automation tools (Power Automate, UiPath).

AI/LLM productivity tools: Familiarity with AI/LLM tools for productivity (e.g. Claude, Power Automate).

Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills to translate business processes into technical solutions.

PREFER TO HAVE(Advantage)

Experience with AI-driven features such as sentiment analysis or document processing.

Experience working directly with non-technical business users to gather requirements.

Personality Requirement:

Strong problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working directly with business users, not just technical teams.

Proactive in learning new tools rather than waiting for formal training.
