Job Summary
We are seeking an experiencedIT Application Project Managerto lead and deliver application development, enhancement, and implementation projects within thebanking and financial services environment. The role involves managing end-to-end project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & Governance
- Manageend-to-end application projectsfrom initiation to closure, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Define project plans, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Ensure projects comply withbanking regulations, internal governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Prepare and presentproject status reportsto senior management and stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
- Act as the primary liaison betweenbusiness users, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical deliverables.
- Manage expectations and resolve issues escalated by business or technical teams.
Application & Technology Management
- Oversee application development, system integration, testing, UAT, and production deployment.
- Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
- Ensure adherence toSDLC, Agile or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Support application maintenance, upgrades, and post-implementation reviews.
Risk, Compliance & Quality
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance withbanking standards, audit requirements, data security, and regulatory guidelines (e.g. BNM, PCI-DSS, ISO where applicable).
- Enforce quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Vendor & Resource Management
- Manage third-party vendors and system integrators, including contracts, deliverables, and performance.
- Optimize resource allocation and track project costs.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree inIT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 712 yearsof IT experience with5+ yearsin application project management.
- Strong experience deliveringbanking or financial services application projects.
- Proven track record managingcore banking, digital banking, payments, CRM, or regulatory systems.
- Experience withAgile, Waterfall, or Hybridproject methodologies.
