About the Role:



We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Analyst to oversee the lifecycle management of our IT assets and ensure compliance with organizational standards. This role will also include responsibilities related to vendor management, procurement, and contract oversight to optimize cost, maintain accurate records, and support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Asset Management

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT Hardware, Software, and Licenses across the organization.
  • Track asset lifecycle from procurement through disposal, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and enforce asset management standards, processes, and documentation.
  • Monitor software license usage and ensure adherence to licensing agreements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to forecast asset needs and support budgeting processes.

Vendor & Procurement Management

  • Track upcoming contract renewals and proactively initiate renewal discussions.
  • Process IT purchase requisitions and ensure timely approvals and order fulfillment.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and coordinate with vendors and internal finance teams.
  • Access and manage supplier portals for order tracking, invoice retrieval, and account updates.
  • Maintain vendor contact information and serve as a liaison for IT-related vendor communications.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Generate regular reports on asset utilization, compliance status, and vendor performance.
  • Support audits by providing accurate asset and contract documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization through vendor negotiations and asset rationalization.
  • Any other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management or procurement within an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware, software licensing, and vendor management practices.
  • Proficiency with asset management tools and supplier portals.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC, or similar). -- Brooks uses BMC. Intune is also acceptable.
  • Familiarity with contract management and procurement systems.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices related to asset and configuration management.
