To strengthen their Infrastructure team, they are looking to hire an IT Assistant Manager with strong expertise in infrastructure solutions, exposure to cybersecurity and digital transformation.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all key IT infrastructure components, including network systems, servers, and storage environments
- Collaborates closely with cross‑functional IT teams—such as application development and cybersecurity—to ensure the infrastructure effectively supports new technologies and business initiatives
- Manages the daily operational activities and project tasks within the IT Infrastructure team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery
- Handles both internal and external communications and serves as the primary escalation contact for business‑related technical issues
- Supports the management of relationships with external vendors, partners, and service providers to ensure reliable delivery of IT solutions and services
Job Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Possesses a minimum of 5 years experience in IT management, particularly in areas such as network and server administration, cybersecurity, and IT compliance
- Demonstrated experience in leading an IT operations team or managing operational functions within an IT environment
- Strong technical expertise across IT systems, including both hardware and software components
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with customers, team members, peers, and senior leadership
- Skilled in facilitation and project management, with the capability to oversee and deliver projects efficiently
- Proven people management abilities, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management
- Must be a Malaysian citizen or possess valid residency status
