IT Business Analyst (12-Month Contract, Onsite Kuala Lumpur)

IMMEDIATE JOINERS ONLY. We need someone to start as soon as possible.

Notice period of 3 days or less is preferred.

About the role

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join a regional IT team in Kuala Lumpur.

You will work with Product Owners and business users across Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan.

What you will do

• Run requirement workshops and interviews with business users and Product Owners.
• Write and review requirement documents such as BRD, FSD and SRS.
• Write business rules and a simple data dictionary.
• Map as-is and to-be processes, and find gaps.
• Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning and sprint reviews.
• Track requirements from request to test. Check the impact when something changes.
• Write test cases and support UAT, from scenarios to sign-off.
• Help with integration requirements, user guides and training material.

What we are looking for

• 5 years or more as an IT Business Analyst or similar.
• Good at working with many stakeholders, including difficult ones.
• Clear, short and structured when you speak and write.
• Experience in Scrum or Agile with a Product Owner.
• Comfortable with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Experience with payroll, HR or ERP systems is a big plus.
