Job Summary
Seeking a Business Analyst with strong insurance product configuration experience to manage onboarding of new products across multiple distribution channels and markets. The role partners with product, actuarial, and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions while ensuring timely, cost-effective project delivery.
Mandatory Skill-set
- 5+ years of experience in full systems development lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of insurance product configuration (Par, Non-Par, ILAS products).
- Experience in insurance product rollout and sales illustration implementation;
- Proficiency in Agile development methodology;
- Solid technical knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and web/app architectures;
- Experience in API mapping, API specifications, and cross-system integrations;
- Strong business analysis skills including requirement gathering, impact analysis, and process modeling;
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and time management skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Exposure to DevOps, Cloud, Microservices, and modern digital architecture practices;
- Experience managing multi-market product pipelines and system upgrades across business units.
Responsibilities
- Configure and onboard insurance products across multiple platforms and distribution channels;
- Collaborate with product, actuarial, and pricing teams to translate product specifications into system configurations;
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements;
- Conduct impact analysis and define As-Is and To-Be process flows;
- Develop conceptual prototypes, mock-ups, and technical specifications;
- Ensure project delivery within defined timelines and budgets;
- Promote configuration over customization to enhance system maintainability;
- Provide ongoing platform support and ensure end-user readiness across departments.
