engaged in the oil and gas industry, providing energy solutions globally.Responsibilities: As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing an organization and designing its processes and systems. This includes assessing the business model and its integration with technology, evaluating the current state, identifying customer requirements, and defining the future state and/or business solution. You will research, gather, and synthesize information while being expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions, providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across various teams. Master proficiency in Requirements Analysis is required. Advanced proficiency in Data Mapping, Expert proficiency in Agile Methodology, and Master proficiency in Elicitation, along with Expert proficiency in Business Process Documentation, are recommended. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions effectively. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Serve as the primary liaison between IT teams and business/operations units to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements specific to oil and gas retail. Apply Scrum and Agile methodologies to support iterative project delivery and continuous improvement. Document current (as-is) and future (to-be) business processes, data flows, workflows, and functional specifications. Develop comprehensive documentation that supports decision-making in selecting optimal solutions for execution. Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and vice versa, facilitating mutual understanding and efficient collaboration. Drive project delivery by working independently and within cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful completion of initiatives. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the adaptability to navigate ambiguous or unclear project paths. Maintain high integrity in managing sensitive data, stakeholder expectations, and project deliverables. Identify and scrutinize business processes, workflows, and system functionalities to recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. Conduct impact analysis and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with diverse stakeholders to align objectives and progress.Qualifications: Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in the oil and gas retail industry. Solid experience working within Scrum or Agile project environments. Skilled in documenting as-is and to-be processes, data flows, workflows, and functional requirements. Strong ability to mediate between technical teams (developers, engineers, IT architects) and business/operations stakeholders (management, operations, sales). Expertise in preparing clear, actionable documentation to assist stakeholders in evaluating and selecting solutions. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. Demonstrated ability to work independently without constant supervision while remaining an effective team player. Agile and adaptable approach to handling projects, especially in ambiguous or changing environments. Proficient in requirements gathering tools, workflow modeling, and business analysis frameworks. Familiarity with oil and gas retail systems, ERP solutions, and compliance requirements is a strong plus.
