Job Summary
IT Business Analyst responsible for configuring and onboarding insurance products on platforms like Cube and DTC across multiple channels; Collaborates with product, actuarial, and pricing teams to deliver system enhancements, sales illustrations, and ongoing platform support.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Must have 5+ years in full systems development;
- Solid knowledge of insurance product configuration and rollout (Par, Non-Par, ILAS products);
- Experience with Node.js, JavaScript, MongoDB, and web/app architectures;
- Proficiency in API mapping, specification, and sequence flows across systems;
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Agile development methodology expertise;
- Understanding of emerging technologies like DevOps, Cloud, Microservices, and Mobile development;
- Ability to influence and lead across multiple organizational levels;
- Technical writing, business process modeling, and traceability skills.
Responsibilities
- Configure new insurance products efficiently and maintain system consistency across markets;
- Gather and analyze user requirements, perform impact analysis, and implement system designs;
- Partner with internal IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and user proficiency;
- Define As Is and To Be process flows, create prototypes/mock-ups, and ensure project delivery within budget;
- Report to management and obtain approvals for system development projects.
