Position Overview
The IT Business Analyst will play a crucial technical role in implementing and supporting the NewsPage Distribution Management System across the global distribution network.
This position sits within IT organization and serves as the technical bridge between our distribution operations teams and technology solution providers.
The role requires deep technical expertise in distribution systems, data integration, and mobile applications while maintaining a strong understanding of distribution business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Translated distribution business requirements into detailed technical specifications for the NewsPage Distribution Management System
- Design system architecture and integration points between NewsPage and existing IT landscape, including ERP, CRM, and data warehouse systems
- Configure and customize the NewsPage platform to support our specific distribution processes and bottle partner requirements
- Design database schemas and data models to support distribution operations and analytics
- Develop technical test plans and execute system integration testing across connected platforms
- Troubleshoot technical issues during implementation and provide solutions
- Support data migration from legacy distribution systems to the NewsPage platform
- Implement mobile device management solutions for field sales and delivery teams using the NewsPage mobile application
- Create technical specifications for reports and dashboards that provide visibility into distribution performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst specializing in distribution systems - NewsPage Distribution Management System
