IT Director

Responsibilities:

• Set vision, strategies, goals and procedures in line with the company's objectives
• Identify and eliminate security risks
• Evaluate trends to keep up with developments in the sector
• Identify new skills and create avenues for adoption
• Align business goals to IT strategy
• Understand the requirements of different departments and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure they are fulfilled
• Possess a view of both software development and support organisation
• Provide oversight and assist with viewing policies to ensure the organisation grow up the maturity curve
• Ensure timely completion of OKRs and other initiatives
• Assist with creating excitement and knowledge sharing for new tools and technologies
• Provide coaching and motivation to team members
• Provide a safe environment for team members to open up
• Design training programs and workshops for team members
• Mentor the team
• Guide the team in audits etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) (preferred)
• PMP (Project Management Professional) (preferred)
• Minimum 20 years of experience in managing
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft Applications
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills
• Proven track record of successfully driving change, challenging the status quo and creatively delivering results
• Strong negotiation, influencing and decision-making skills
• Highly motivated and driven to lead the team and company to operate at a high level
