About this Role:
As a IT Executive, you'll be part of the team that develops, tests, maintains, and supports software/web/mobile applications. You'll assist senior programmers, work with cross-functional teams, and help ensure our systems run smoothly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write, test, and debug code for new features and enhancements in web / mobile applications.
- Maintain and support existing applications: fix bugs, perform updates, ensure performance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and operations teams to ensure quality and smooth deployment.
- Assist in documentation: code comments, user guides, technical specs.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
- Help with application integrations (e.g. APIs) and database work.
- Provide occasional technical support / troubleshooting as needed.
- Learn new tools, technologies, and practices to stay current.
Job Requirement:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts (e.g. OOP, data structures, algorithms).
- Some exposure (academic or internship) to at least one programming language (e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C#).
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g. Git).
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
- Good communication skills (English; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus).
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt.
- Able to work well in a team, and also handle tasks independently.
