Job Description

The IT Manager manages and maintains all the Hotel ICT systems in implementing the ICT goals and strategies that are aligned with the business requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up, installs, configures and maintains computer and servers in the hotel.
  • Manages and maintains hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners in the hotel.
  • Investigates and resolves computer software and hardware faults.
  • Plans and undertakes scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
  • Ensures the property continue to operate without disruption to business and operations in the event of unforeseen breakdown.
  • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
  • Managing annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness on allocation of IT budget.

Requirements

  • Proven 2 years track record in a hotel of comparable standard in similar capacity
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends
  • Strong leadership, organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to quickly establish good working relationships with colleagues, guests, vendors
  • Able to maintain consistent performances under pressure
  • Willingness to work over unsociable hours
  • Must have the right to work in Malaysia
