Key Responsibilities:

Retail IT Operations & Support

Oversee day-to-day IT operations across all stores and offices, supporting approximately 400 end users.

Ensure high system availability for POS, CRM, payment solutions, and store inventory sys-tems.

Lead IT support and troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution of store and office issues.

SAP Post-Integration Support

Manage and implement new SAP system for the retail business.

Coordinate with regional IT teams to resolve technical and functional issues.

Train users and drive continuous improvements in related workflows and system utilization.

Store Expansion & Infrastructure

Manage IT assets, software and hardware rollouts, and retail network stability.

Provide IT setup and support for existing/ new store openings, relocations, and refurbishments.

Project & Vendor Management

Lead and support local IT projects, including system upgrades and digital initiatives.

Manage external vendors and service providers, ensuring IT performance are met accordingly to the business needs.

Plan and monitor the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

IT Compliance and Policies

Set up, implement and monitor all IT policies and practices for Optical Retail Malaysia according to local law and regulation and group's internal standard and compliance.

Main Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

More than 6yrs of relevant experience, including experience retail IT leadership role.

Hands-on experience with SAP systems

Strong understanding of retail technologies (POS, CRM, inventory systems, networks).

Excellent troubleshooting, project management, and vendor coordination skills.

Effective communicator with the ability to train and support non-technical users.

Capable in leading all IT related matters and drive IT excellence with MNC standards.

Willingness to travel occasionally to store locations across Malaysia.
