Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Manager to lead a regional IT team and ensure smooth operations across end-user support, network management, and system administration. This role will also provide development, automation, and support for subcontract manufacturing sites. The position reports into the Director of Global IT Support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and supervise the daily activities of regional IT staff and external vendors.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction with IT services, meeting service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage regional IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Oversee IT purchases for the region and coordinate global IT purchase requisitions and POs.
  • Act as the primary IT escalation point for regional business leaders.
  • Supervise problem resolution activities and software/system upgrades.
  • Support IT governance initiatives such as compliance, certifications, and audits.
  • Enforce adherence to IT processes, including change management and documentation.
  • Oversee end-user IT support operations.
  • Monitor and manage enterprise-grade compute, storage, networks, and virtualized environments.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve issues across physical and virtual servers.
  • Ensure software license compliance and maintain system documentation.
  • Provide support for Windows and Linux systems, business applications, and unified communications platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of IT hands-on experience, with at least 5 years in IT management roles.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin for regional support.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, VMware, Windows Server systems
  • Cisco networking, EMC storage, and virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
  • Scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Perl, etc.)
  • Enterprise backup, monitoring, and endpoint management platforms
  • Familiarity with governance standards (SOX, ISO) and IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Experience working in high-tech manufacturing or R&D environments preferred.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%
