IT Network Manager

The IT Network Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, operation and security of the organization's network infrastructure. This role ensures reliable, secure and scalable connectivity across data centers, offices and remote locations while supporting business and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and data center networking.
• Design and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient network architecture.
• Administer firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, routing, switching, and network security controls.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC, and related frameworks.
• Monitor network performance and handle troubleshooting, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
• Manage ISP connectivity, redundancy, routing optimization, and bandwidth utilization.
• Lead network infrastructure projects including office expansions, technology upgrades, and data center deployments.
• Implement network security best practices and vulnerability remediation measures.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and manage SLAs and maintenance contracts.
• Prepare technical documentation, risk assessments, and network capacity planning reports.
• Develop and enforce network policies, operational procedures, and standards.
• Lead and mentor the infrastructure/network operations team.
• Collaborate with technical, automation, and business teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8 to12 years of experience managing enterprise network infrastructure environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, wireless technologies, and network protocols.
• Experience managing firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Good exposure to data center networking and critical infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with network monitoring, troubleshooting, ITSM tools, and ITIL processes.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or Security certifications are highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Ability to explain technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
