About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented IT PMO Administrator Specialist to support project management initiatives and ensure operational efficiency. This role involves working closely with project managers and leads across multiple functions, including technology, to deliver projects on time, manage risk effectively and ensure budgets are met. Join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving innovative projects within the General Insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Support

  • Assist Project Managers in driving projects from planning to execution.
  • Gather and analyze project data to support informed decision-making.
  • Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks to optimize efficiency and cost management.

Risk & Change Management

  • Track key project risks, dependencies, and resolutions.
  • Maintain the Project Risk Register and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Document and track change management activities for continuous improvement.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Consolidate and report project financials for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and provide budget vs. actual updates.
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Track resource utilization and share regular updates with the team.

Performance & Reporting

  • Establish key metrics to measure project progress and operational improvements.
  • Support cross-functional teams in gathering data and reporting project updates.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology (IT), or Insurance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a IT Project Management Office (PMO) role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Insurance solutions and their application in core insurance processes (e.g., policy administration, claims, billing).
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and project delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English.
  • Solid understanding of insurance business operations and project management best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Experience in tracking project metrics, preparing status reports, and ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
