A Product Owner/Business Analyst is responsible for driving product vision, gather and translate business requirements and ensure successful delivery of digital products and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, UX designers, engineering teams, and QA to define product roadmaps, manage backlogs, and ensure solutions meet business goals, customer needs, and regulatory expectations.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized, refined and aligned with business and customer value.
- Define product vision, objectives and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Translate product strategies into clear, actionable requirements and features.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring clarity of scope and business priorities.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements, functional specifications and user stories.
- Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, journey mapping and process analysis with stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed acceptance criteria and ensure testability of all requirements.
- Work with UX/UI teams to refine wireframes, prototypes and workflows.
- Support development teams throughout the build and testing phases.
- Review functional test results and ensure solutions meet business needs and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in SIT & UAT planning and defect triage.
- Oversee release planning and ensure readiness for deployment.
- Analyze product performance, customer feedback and operational metrics to drive enhancements.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to product strategy, roadmap planning and long-term capability development.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any technology related field is desired.
- Min 6 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management practices.
- Experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using product and project tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Figma).
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in digital transformation, customer onboarding, digital onboarding, KYC/AML processes or workflow-based systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of UX/UI frameworks and customer journey mapping.
- Familiar with API-based systems, microservices and modern application architectures.
- Experience in data modelling, reporting requirements or analytics is desired.
- Strong business acumen & problem-solving, customer-centered thinking, detail-oriented, structured, able to drive clarity and alignment across diverse stakeholders.
