Position Summary
The IT Productivity Systems & Network Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the organization's IT infrastructure and productivity systems. This role oversees servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user productivity platforms to support efficient business operations, minimize downtime, and enable scalable growth. It will also provide strategic opportunities to align objectives and processes with our global productivity systems teams, providing a consistent model and unified support of IT service offerings.
Essential Functions
Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Manage, maintain, and monitor on-premises and cloud-based servers (Windows/Linux).
- Oversee network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, and wireless systems.
- Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and capacity planning for all systems.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
Productivity & Collaboration Systems
- Administer productivity platforms such as Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune. email, file sharing, and collaboration tools.
- Ensure secure access, identity management, and device integration.
- Improve employee productivity through system optimization, automation, and best practices.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and enforce IT security policies, access controls, and monitoring.
- Manage patching, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal policies.
Leadership & Support
- Lead or coordinate local IT support staff and managed service providers.
- Provide escalation support for complex technical issues.
- Document systems, procedures, and configurations.
Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve performance, security, and productivity.
- Plan and manage infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.
- Monitor IT trends and align technology solutions with business goals.
Required
education And JoB Experience requirements -- CERTIFICATIONs
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in server, network, and systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls).
- Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and productivity suites.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, AWS, Azure).
- Experience with automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience managing hybrid or fully cloud-based environments.
- Leadership or team management experience.
