IT Project Manager (Insurance project management experience is a must) – 1 year contract renewableKey Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Execution (Primary)

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and governance materials.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, technology, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Drive effective stakeholder engagement and communication at all levels.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues to minimize delivery impact.
• Track project progress and provide regular reporting to sponsors and senior management.
• Manage change requests and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities.
  
  

Governance & Stakeholder Management (Secondary)

• Support project governance activities including steering committee meetings, status reporting, and project reviews.
• Ensure compliance with organizational project management frameworks, controls, and standards.
• Facilitate decision-making processes and escalation management where required.
  
  

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of Project Management experience, with a strong track record of successfully delivering medium to large-scale projects within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional project teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, and vendor deliverables.
  
  

The salary for this position is up to RM 10,000.
