Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for leading endtoend CCTV and security system deployment projectscovering planning, execution, testing, and handover. This role ensures that all deliverables are met within scope, budget, and timeline while complying with industry standards and customer requirements. The PM will work closely with technical teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful implementation of surveillance infrastructure, network components, and control room systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead endtoend CCTV deployment projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for CCTV/ELV installations.
- Oversee installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of CCTV systems.
- Manage vendors, contractors, and internal technical teams throughout deployment.
- Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and ensure safety and compliance standards.
- Facilitate clear communication and progress updates with customers and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and project records are complete and auditready.
- Maintain strong understanding of IP networking, VMS platforms, and CCTV technologies.
- Ensure all installations comply with regulatory, cybersecurity, and quality requirements.
Key Skills
- 58 years project management experience, including 3+ years in CCTV/ELV/surveillance deployment for enterprisescale environments.
- Strong technical expertise in IP CCTV systems, VMS platforms (Milestone, Genetec, etc.), network switches, VLANs, PoE, and structured cabling.
- Solid understanding of servers, storage (NAS/SAN), system redundancy, and fibre/copper deployment methods.
- Proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, reporting tools, and experienced in vendor/contractor management.
- Strong leadership, communication, customer orientation, and ability to solve problems and work under pressure; willing to travel to sites.
- Able to work effectively with internal teams (Solutions, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Ops) and external partners (vendors, integrators, enterprise clients).
- Must be PMP Certified
