Are you an expert in Technology Risk with a deep understanding of BNM regulatory frameworks We are looking for a seasoned IT Risk & Compliance Lead to join our Group Technology Department and drive proactive risk mitigation!

This is a 12-month mission-critical contract for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-stakes banking compliance environment.

Role Overview:

• Tenure: 12-Month Contract
• Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Priority: Local Malaysians Only
• Experience: 5+ Years in Tech Risk & Compliance (Banking/FI preferred)

️ Your Core Mission:

• Regulatory Mastery: Act as the Subject Matter Expert on BNM policy documents, ensuring all IT activities align with legal, contractual, and organizational standards.
• Risk Assessment & Reporting: Lead monthly/quarterly submissions for KRI, RCSA, CSAR, CRMA, and MCIPD.
• Governance Oversight: Coordinate the Technology Risk Dashboard and manage end-to-end PCI DSS and other compliance assessments.
• Advisory & Review: Validate critical documentation (Master Service Agreements, Cloud Risk Assessments, Material Risk Assessments) and provide strategic advisories to IT Project Managers.
• Incident Escalation: Ensure timely reporting of compliance breaches and manage Lost Event Reports (GCM System) for Priority 1 & 2 incidents.

What We Are Looking For:

• The Specialist: 5+ years of relevant experience in GRC, preferably within a Financial Institution.
• The Strategist: Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and the ability to assess complex risks with practical solutions.
• The Communicator: Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders (PayNet, BNM).
• Certified: CISA, CISSP, or CRISC certifications are highly advantageous.
