Job Summary
The System Analyst Software Support is responsible for supporting system implementation, administration, and optimizationprimarily focusing on ERP coordination, Microsoft 365 support, Power BI reporting, and IT security. This role acts as a bridge between users, IT leadership, and vendors to ensure smooth software operations and secure, compliant system usage across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
ERP Implementation & System Coordination
- Serve as the key point of contact between internal teams and ERP vendors.
- Drive the planning, documentation, and implementation phases in collaboration with the IT Manager.
- Lead user requirement gathering and gap analysis to align ERP functionality with business needs.
- Coordinate and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with relevant departments.
- Ensure ERP systems are compliant with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Microsoft 365 Support & System Administration
- Manage Microsoft 365 tenant, including licensing, user access, compliance settings, and platform customization.
- Support and troubleshoot M365 applications such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
- Customize and maintain SharePoint portals, Teams channels, and workflow automations.
- Ensure high system availability and end-user support for collaboration tools.
Business Intelligence & Reporting (Power BI)
- Lead the migration of manual reporting processes to automated dashboards using Power BI.
- Design and implement interactive dashboards for finance, sales, procurement, and other business functions.
- Integrate and manage data sources including Excel, databases, APIs, and SharePoint.
- Provide insight and analytics to aid in decision-making across departments.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and enforce IT security policies via Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center.
- Perform regular audits, analyze logs, and ensure alignment with internal and external compliance standards.
Cybersecurity
- Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and incident response procedures.
- Lead cybersecurity awareness initiatives, including phishing simulations and user education programs.
- Support the IT Manager in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and audit preparation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in system analysis, software support, or IT administration roles.
- Proven experience with ERP implementation and Microsoft 365 platform management.
- Hands-on expertise in Power BI development and report automation.
Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Security & Compliance tools).
- Strong experience in Power BI: data modelling and dashboard design.
- Familiarity with system integration tools, APIs, and data governance best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Demonstrates leadership potential and problem-solving orientation.
- Excellent documentation and process management skills.
