Job Description

  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and other hardware peripherals.
  • Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of physical servers, network equipment and storage systems.
  • Manage server backups, updates and ensure hardware uptime and performance.
  • Respond promptly to hardware-related support requests, incidents and outages.
  • Perform hardware upgrades and replacements in line with lifecycle planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assets, configurations and maintenance records.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware repair or warranty claims.
  • Assist in IT infrastructure projects including server room setups, migrations or expansions.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data security standards.
  • Provide after-hours support in case of critical hardware or server failures (on-call basis).

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IT hardware and server maintenance.
  • Experience with Windows Server, basic networking and RAID/storage technologies is preferred.
  • Able to do maintenance during afterhours to avoid disruption to daily operations.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of PC/laptop hardware components and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with server hardware, rack-mounted systems, UPS and cabling.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DHCP, DNS).
  • Proficiency with backup tools and endpoint management software.
