Japanese speaking Assistant Financial Controller required for pharmaceutical MNC

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for designated markets and business units
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and internal financial policies
- Maintain strong financial controls aligned with global processes
- Provide insights on performance, risks, and growth opportunities, recommending improvements where needed
- Review financial data against historical trends and future projections
- Own and manage market-level balance sheets, including reconciliation approvals
- Support audit and tax-related activities with accurate and timely inputs
- Collaborate with business leads and finance operations teams (e.g., P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax)
- Contribute to broader controllership initiatives and process enhancements
Essential Qualifications:
- Accounting degree or qualification
- Minimum 5 years&apos experience in financial control, FP&A, or finance business partnering
- Experience in multinational corporate environments
- Proficiency in SAP and ability to work with complex financial systems
- Business-level fluency in Japanese (spoken and written)
