Responsibilities:

Conduct accounting and tax due diligence for overseas expansion and merger & acquisition projects.
Provide accounting, tax, and financial support to overseas subsidiaries and business operations.
Assist in the design, implementation, and enhancement of internal control frameworks for overseas entities.
Coordinate with regional stakeholders and headquarters on financial reporting, compliance, and governance matters.
Deliver accounting and tax advisory services to clients on cross-border business activities.
Support various regional business initiatives and projects as required.
Undertake responsibilities aligned with experience, expertise, and business needs.

Requirements:

Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience gained in an audit firm, accounting firm, or related professional services environment.
Strong practical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
Experience supporting overseas operations, regional projects, or cross-border engagements is an added advantage.
Professional qualifications such as Japanese CPA, US CPA, Certified Tax Accountant, or equivalent are an added advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
