Java Developer (junior only, sql, oracle & javascript)

Project Description:

Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.

The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance application components using Java and JavaScript (DOJO).

Write, execute, and optimize SQL queries on Oracle databases.

Perform basic application deployment, configuration, and support activities on Open systems (Linux / Unix / Windows).

Assist in monitoring application processes and logs in Linux/Unix/Windows environments.

Support workflow-based applications under the guidance of senior developers.

Participate in unit testing, defect fixing, and code reviews.

Follow SDLC, coding standards, and documentation practices.

Mandatory Skills Description:

1-3 years of experience in Java-based application development.

- Java

- JavaScript (DOJO)

- SQL

Database:

- Oracle

- Operating System:

- Open systems (Linux / Unix / Windows)

Core Skills:

- Basic application development and maintenance

- Ability to write and understand SQL queries
