Java developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Java Developer to join our growing team in Kota Damansara. The ideal candidate is a local Malaysian graduate with a strong foundation in software development and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic environment. Experience in supporting enterprise solutions such as ERP systems or banking applications will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, and project managers to deliver quality solutions.
• Maintain and update existing systems and applications as required.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and related technologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Familiar with RESTful APIs, web services, and JSON/XML.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an added advantage.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
