POSITION 1

Title: Java Developer (3-6 yrs exp)

Title: Sr. Java Developer (6+ yrs exp)

Location: Putrajaya, Malaysia

Employment Type: Permanent/ 5 days work from office

Work experience:

· Experienced: 3-6 years of experience working as a developer (Methodologies: Waterfall & Agile are

accepted). First understanding of development processes associated (testing, code quality, design)

· Senior: > 6years of experience working as a developer (Methodologies: Waterfall & Agile are

accepted). Good understanding of development processes associated (testing, code quality, design). First experience as a technical leader in a project

Academic requirements:

· Bachelor's or master degree in information technology and/or other demonstrated learning path (eg. Bootcamp) can be accepted.

· Certification (ITIL is a +)

Required technical Skills:

· Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role

· Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns

· Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate

· Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL

· Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Git but can be RTC

· Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services

· Knowledge of Junit

POSITION 2

Title: Senior Java Developer (5 years experience)

Location: KL, Malaysia

Employment Type: Permanent

5 days work from office

Summary:

We are seeking a Java Developer to design, develop, test, and support software solutions. The role involves coding, debugging, and assisting in the analysis and documentation of system requirements. You will work closely with teams to enhance existing systems and contribute to new development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, debug, and document Java-based applications.
  • Support the enhancement and maintenance of internal systems or client-facing applications.
  • Analyze existing systems and assist in defining modifications to meet evolving business needs.
  • Create and update technical documentation, including program specifications and user guides.
  • Participate in unit testing by preparing test data, executing test cases, and verifying results.
  • Conduct basic data analysis to support project requirements.
  • Collaborate with peers in code reviews and quality assurance activities.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and development trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of Java programming experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of relational databases (e.g., SQL).
  • Exposure to software development tools and version control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred with Insurance Industry knowledge.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred with Insurance Industry knowledge.
