We are looking for a Senior Associate Application Support with strong hands-on experience in Core Javabased enterprise applications. The role involves development, production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of business-critical systems built on Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development & Enhancement
Develop and maintain application code following best practices, coding standards, and secure development guidelines.
Design and build modules using:
o Core Java
o Spring / Spring Boot Framework
o Hibernate / JPA
Develop UI components using Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Bootstrap.
Work with SQL for database queries, procedures, and data validation.
Support legacy or integrated modules developed using VB.NET / C# (where applicable).
Write and maintain Unix/Linux Bash scripts for deployments and batch processing.

2. Application Support (BAU & Production)
Provide L2/L3 application support for production systems.
Handle BAU activities including:
o Troubleshooting application errors
o Log analysis
o Root cause analysis (RCA)
o Performance and stability issues
Resolve user-reported incidents and service requests within SLA.
Work closely with business users to clarify issues and provide functional/technical solutions.

3. Testing, Deployment & Environment Support
Perform unit testing, system testing, and support SIT, UAT, and Production deployments.
Fix defects raised during SIT/UAT phases.
Coordinate release activities and ensure smooth production deployment.
Monitor post-deployment issues and provide quick remediation.

4. Documentation & Compliance
Prepare technical documentation as per company standards, including:
o Design documents
o Technical specifications
o Release notes
o Support manuals
Maintain knowledge base for recurring issues and resolutions.

5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and infrastructure teams.
Suggest improvements in performance, security, and maintainability.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Experience Requirements
58+ years of experience in Java application development and support.
Strong experience in production support / application support roles.
Experience working in enterprise, multi-tier applications.
