Role Purpose:
Lead the strategic vision and roadmap for the JDEdwards E1 Regional Product Family hosted in Microsoft Azure Cloud, implemented across 15 affiliates in Asia-Pacific. Ensure coordination across multiple squads, value realization for the business, and successful delivery of ERP de-risking and simplification objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Demand Management
- Collect, qualify, and assess demands from Global Business Process Owners and Tech functions.
- Consolidate and analyze business & tech product demand backlogs.
- Collaborate with proximity teams to capture local needs and integrate them into squad backlogs.
2. Backlog Management
- Act as EPIC Owner, perform EPIC analysis, and contribute to portfolio backlog review.
- Allocate features to Product Owners and ensure prioritization and integration into portfolio synchronization backlogs.
3. IT Financial Management (ITFM)
- Provide product roadmap and backlog, forecast squad resource needs.
- Track product ROI, costs, and perform variance analysis with justification.
4. Product Lifecycle Management
- Drive product vision and roadmap through framing analysis and EPIC/feature prioritization.
- Define and track product value generation and related investments.
- Oversee product squads activities throughout lifecycle, ensuring effective demos and roll-out plans.
5. Resource Management
- Coordinate product teams, animate PO community, and secure engagement.
- Define squad resource needs and collaborate with tech leaders for mobilization.
- Adjust plans and roadmaps based on resource capacity.
Knowledge & Expertise:
- Deep strategic planning capabilities and value-driven mindset.
- Strong understanding of agile practices and mindset.
- Experience in product management and IT project roll-outs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good industry knowledge and insights into ERP domain challenges.
- Strong understanding of JDEdwards ERP system (technical & functional).
- Experience in consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing industry processes.
Leadership & Team:
- Directly manage 4 Product Owners (Distribution & Logistics, Finance, Manufacturing, Support & Release Management).
- Approx. 30 squad members under these products.
- Key internal stakeholders: Product Owners, Tech Success Director, Chapter Resources Lead.
- Key external stakeholders: Oracle, WIPRO, DWS Ltd., IBM.
Geographical Scope & Travel:
- Global scope with approx. 10% travel.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven track record in delivering large and complex transformation projects.
- Experience in people management within multi-team structures.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
