Job Description/Technical Skills:
Jira Administration:
- Advanced workflow design (conditions, validators, post-functions).
- Custom fields, issue types, boards, filters, permissions, automation rules.
- Jira Cloud administration expertise, including Atlassian Access and organization-level configuration.
- Integration experience with GitHub, Azure and other similar tools.
Confluence Administration:
- Space configuration, templates, macros, permissions and content organization.
- Knowledge of content governance and information architecture best practices.
Scripting & Automation: (preferred)
- Experience with ScriptRunner (Groovy), PowerShell, Python or REST API scripting.
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks or build custom solutions.
Platform & System Knowledge:
- Understanding of user authentication and identity tools (SSO, SAML, Azure AD).
- Familiarity with database concepts and application logs for troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of data migration tools and methodologies.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Experience building dashboards using Jira Query Language (JQL) and custom reports.
- Ability to support teams with performance metrics and workflow-driven reporting.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience administering Jira Cloud, Jira Server and Confluence.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining Jira workflows, schemes and configurations aligned with business processes.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams such as PMO, IT and Business Operations.
- Practical experience managing system upgrades, platform migrations (e.g. Server → Cloud) and plugin lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and service/incident management processes.
- Adept at troubleshooting complex tool-related issues, coordinating with vendors and providing Tier 2/3 support.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tooling strategies with business goals and drive innovation through tool evaluations, POCs and pilots.
- Ability to handle multiple audit requests while maintaining BAU activities.
