Job Title : Cloud DevOps Engineer

PURPOSE:

Accountable for On-premise to Cloud Migration by Lift & Shift, Cloud Re-Host/ Re-Platform & Modernization
Bridge the gap between technical Migrations and automation, taking an active role on both sides
Creation of automated scripts & experience with container and container orchestration technologies i.e. AKS & EKS

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES:

Perform on-Premise to Cloud Migrations i.e. Azure & AWS by using Cloud native tools
Helping to design, test, and implement various infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Actively participate in high level team activities such as suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool evaluations.
Create and support internal documentation and handoffs to other teams.
Collaborate with other teams to help streamline application and infrastructure deployment times.
Microservices deployment, DevOps & Kubernetes experience will have advantage
End to end On-premise to Cloud Migrations and post migration activities.
Cost management, optimization, ROI calculations, reserved instances, generating quotes from cost calculators etc., on Azure, and AWS
Configure Virtual Networks (VNet) and implemented VNet Peering
Applications scalability with Azure auto scaling with full automation
Work with internal teams to create the migration process of legacy systems to the Azure cloud
Troubleshooting Azure & AWS daily issues right from VM, Network & Migrations etc.
Work with the Architect and implement the Microsoft Azure products as and when needed.
Implementing Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup solutions.
Knowledge of ITIL process for Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management
