Junior Application Support

Description

We are looking for an experienced Application Support professional to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a background in supporting applications, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and user support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support application performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Provide user support and training on application functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application processes.
• Document application issues and resolutions for future reference.

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Ideally 1–3 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, System Support, IT Operations or Technical Support.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/RHEL environments.
• Basic SQL knowledge and ability to perform queries for troubleshooting.
• Understanding of application architecture, including frontend, backend and API interactions.
• Basic understanding of ITIL, particularly Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Comfortable following structured procedures and technical runbooks.
• Willing to work in an environment with strict physical and logical access controls.
