Job Description

Job Description:

  1. Conduct periodic compliance reviews to ensure the company maintains a high level of adherence to insurance and financial services regulations.
  2. Monitor, analyze, and provide updates on new and amended laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO), and the Bank of Thailand (BOT) that may impact the company's business and products.
  3. Provide compliance advisory and consultation services to business units to support the development and launch of new insurance products, distribution models, and initiatives in compliance with applicable regulations.
  4. Develop, implement, and periodically review compliance policies, procedures, and manuals, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and the company's operational and product strategies.
  5. Collaborate with Risk Management, Product, Legal, and Operations teams to assess regulatory impacts and ensure adequate internal controls to mitigate compliance risks.
  6. Conduct regulatory gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and ensure timely remediation of compliance issues.
  7. Liaise with regulators such as OIC, BOT, and AMLO for compliance reporting, regulatory submissions, and support during audits or inspections.
  8. Support and deliver compliance training and awareness programs related to insurance business operations, AML/CFT obligations, and data protection.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    2-3 years of experience in compliance, preferably in insurance, insurtech, fintech, or financial services sectors.
  2. Strong understanding of insurance business operations, product structures, and regulatory frameworks. Is a plus.
  3. Familiar with relevant regulations and guidelines from OIC, AMLO, BOT, as well as consumer protection and PDPA laws.
  4. Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical policies and procedures.
  5. Proactive in monitoring regulatory developments and coordinating policy updates.
  6. Fluent in Thai and English, both written and spoken.
