Junior Content Writer & Producer

We're looking for a Junior Content Writer & Producer who loves social media, enjoys creating content and is excited to turn ideas into something people actually want to watch, read and engage with.

The Role :

We're looking for a Junior Content Writer & Producer who loves social media, enjoys creating content and is excited to turn ideas into something people actually want to watch, read and engage with to join our team in Petaling Jaya.

This is a hands-on role where you'll get to write, create, shoot, produce and experiment with content across different brands and social platforms.

You'll work alongside our writers, strategists, designers, videographers and project teams, learning how ideas go from a brief to actual content.

What You'll Do :

• Brainstorm fresh content ideas for social media and digital campaigns
• Write captions, social posts, video scripts, headlines and other digital content
• Create content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
• Help develop short-form video ideas, from concept and scripting to shooting and production
• Assist with content shoots, interviews, events and social media coverage
• Be comfortable appearing behind or in front of the camera when the content calls for it
• Research trends, conversations, memes, formats and emerging content styles
• Turn trending topics and online conversations into relevant ideas for brands
• Work with designers and videographers to bring content ideas to life
• Assist in developing content calendars and planning always-on social content
• Adapt ideas and copy for different brands, audiences and platforms
• Proofread and check content before it goes live
• Learn from campaign performance and help identify what content works and what we can do better next time
• Work directly with clients to understand their briefs, feedback and content needs
• Participate in client discussions and presentations, and learn how to communicate and present ideas confidently

What We're Looking For :

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, or candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in content, copywriting, social media, production or a related field
• You enjoy writing and know how to communicate ideas clearly
• You're genuinely interested in social media and digital culture
• You understand the basics of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
• You have an eye for what makes content interesting, entertaining or worth sharing
• You're comfortable contributing ideas during brainstorms
• Basic photography, videography or video editing skills are an advantage
• Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• You're curious, proactive and willing to learn
• You're comfortable working across different brands, industries and types of content
• Most importantly, you don't wait to be told what is interesting. You're naturally looking for the next idea.

A degree or diploma in Communications, Advertising, Media, Marketing, Journalism or a related field is welcome, but your ideas, attitude and willingness to create matter just as much.
