Role: Creative Strategist/Senior Creative Strategist

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor (Hybrid)

Report To: Head of Creative (Malaysia)

Hepmil Creators Network (HCN) is a digital creator agency that connects brands with the best and most popular TikTok creators across SEA. We are looking for a Creative Strategist/Senior Creative Strategist with a strong creative mind to help expand the presence and promote Hepmil Creator's Network across all platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to generate insights and ideas with a creator-first focus across multiple social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Youtube & Facebook)
  • Developing key strategies with clients with social campaigns involving creators and content.
  • Improve workflow and quality alongside industry best practices
  • Pitching and presenting ideas to external business partners.
  • Strategising and managing exclusive creator content plans and strategies
  • Provide training and consultation for clients in relation to our products, processes and social landscape.

For Junior Creative Strategist - Trendspotting & Cultural Insights

  • Monitor and identify emerging trends across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, etc.).
  • Track viral formats, memes, sounds, hashtags, and creator behaviors in real time.
  • Analyse why content goes viral and translate trends into actionable insights for campaigns.

Requirements

  • Strong creative mind with minimum 1-2 years (for Junior) 3-4 years (for Senior) of creative or digital agency experience
  • In-depth knowledge of key social media channels primarily TikTok, but also Facebook, Instagram and Youtube
  • Knowledge of social media content ecosystem, especially videos and memes
  • Knowledge of developing marketing strategies for cross content execution
  • Experience working with a team in conceptualising and producing content
  • Good comfort level interacting with high-profile clients and industry professionals
  • Talent in presenting information concisely and accurately with keen attention to detail
  • Experience with writing, directing, shooting and editing videos is a plus
  • Experience in working in creative advertising industry with exposure in creating video content for digital formats is a key advantage
  • Ability to work in a hybrid set-up
