Your Role in VT Markets
We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst with a strong interest in data cleaning, reporting, and automation to support our growing team. This role requires an analytical mindset with the ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights. You will assist in preparing and maintaining datasets, building reports, and streamlining processes to drive efficiency. Working closely with the lead analyst, you will gain hands-on experience in real-world data projects while contributing to business decision-making and process improvements.

What Makes You a Great Fit
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Expert knowledge of data cleaning and transformation using tools like Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio) is a plus.
- Exposure to automation techniques (e.g., Excel macros, Python scripts, or workflow tools) is preferred but not required.
Soft skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for data storage or analysis.
- Interest in business intelligence and how data drives decisions.
- Previous internship or project experience in data analytics or reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in data cleaning and preparation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of datasets.
- Support in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Help automate recurring data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with the team to document processes, best practices, and data workflows.
- Perform ad-hoc data tasks as assigned to support ongoing projects.
