Junior Developer (KYC / Compliance Technology)

Our client is seeking a Junior Developer – KYC to support the development, enhancement, and production support of core service applications within the Compliance Technology (Comp Tech) landscape. This role is suitable for candidates with 3–5 years of application development experience, strong SQL and Unix Shell Scripting skills, and exposure to application support within enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining core applications, batch processing solutions, database scripts, and automation processes across Unix, Linux, and Windows platforms. The role will also involve troubleshooting production issues, performing data validation, supporting system integrations, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), financial crime compliance systems, or banking environments will be highly advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in application development and support
• Strong SQL skills (query writing, optimization, stored procedures, troubleshooting)
• Hands-on experience with Unix Shell Scripting
• Good knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Windows environments
• Experience in application support, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Understanding of databases, data processing, and system integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to AML/KYC platforms such as Detica NetReveal, NICE Actimize, Microsoft Continuity, or Tookitaki
• Knowledge of financial crime compliance processes and regulations
• Java development experience and application integration knowledge
• Banking or financial services technology experience
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery environments
