Role Description The Junior Event Marketing | Provide Training role is a full-time, on-site position based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing events, including assisting with logistics, preparing promotional materials, and ensuring smooth on-site operations. The position also includes providing training and guidance to event staff and participants on event processes, brand messaging, and customer engagement standards. Day-to-day responsibilities may include collaborating with senior marketing team members, maintaining event documentation, tracking attendance and feedback, and helping to improve event and training programs based on performance data. The role requires close teamwork, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a strong interest in marketing, events, and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Foundational event coordination skills, including scheduling, logistics support, and vendor or partner communication.
  • Interest or experience in marketing activities such as event promotion, basic campaign support, and audience engagement.
  • Ability to provide training support, explain procedures clearly, and assist in onboarding or briefing event staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., office productivity software, online collaboration platforms); familiarity with social media or event management tools is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback and professional development.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; internship or entry-level experience in events or marketing is a plus.
