As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces that align with the needs and preferences of our clients. You will collaborate with clients and various team members to design and execute exceptional interior spaces. Your main duties include:
- Collaborating with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget. Present and explain design ideas, while incorporating client feedback.
- Creating Design Concepts: Develop creative and functional design concepts using CAD software, including floor plans, drawings, and 3D models, ensuring that safety and aesthetic standards are met.
- Choosing Color Schemes, Materials, and Furnishings: Select color schemes, materials, and furnishings that create a cohesive design within the client's preferences and budget.
- Conducting Site Visits: Perform site visits to measure space, assess existing conditions, and ensure designs comply with safety and accessibility standards.
- Project Management and Coordination: Manage and coordinate design projects, ensuring timely completion within budget. Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to maintain smooth project execution.
- Staying Current with Design Trends: Keep up with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in interior design to deliver fresh, innovative designs.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure all aspects of the design are aligned and executed properly.
- Meeting Deadlines: Manage time effectively to balance multiple projects and meet established deadlines.
- Portfolio Maintenance: Maintain an updated portfolio to showcase your design expertise and attract new clients.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma or higher in a related field.
- Own transportation and willingness to travel for outstation assignments.
- Proficient in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin.
- Minimum of 1 years of working experience in interior design (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Proficient in design software including Illustrator, 3D design programs, and Photoshop.
