Reports to: Country Manager, with functional reporting to the Regional Marketing and Branding Executive (RMBE).
About the Role:
We are seeking an energetic and creative fresh graduate to join our team as a Junior Marketing Executive for the Malaysian market. As the 'hands and feet' for our marketing efforts on the ground, you will be responsible for bringing our brand to life with engaging content, community management, and on-site event support. If you are comfortable in front of a camera and passionate about connecting with local communities, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Localization: Produce and edit high-quality photos and videos/reels for social media platforms. Curate and create local content, such as memes and industry news, that is culturally relevant to the Malaysian market. Assist in creating visual assets, including banners, infographics, and social media graphics, based on the RMBE&aposs directions.
Community and Social Media Management: Manage our local social media pages and engage directly with our community. Assist in the growth of the community Assist the RMBE in building relationships with local influencers and brand advocates. Event Support and Execution: Attend and provide on-site support for all local events, podcasts, workshops, and roadshows. Document events with photos and videos and assist in creating post-event content (reels, posts, etc.).
Qualifications:
A fresh graduate with a strong interest in marketing and branding. Fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese). Comfortable and confident in front of a camera, with a high level of energy. Proficiency in content creation and video/photo editing software (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere). A proactive, hands-on, and energetic personality with excellent communication skills. Basic knowledge of social media trends and community management is a plus.
