JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for drones, robotic systems, and related equipment.
- Prepare and update engineering drawings (2D & 3D), specifications, and technical documentation.
- Support prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing, including troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Conduct basic engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Work closely with Electrical, Software, Production, and R&D teams to ensure design feasibility and integration.
- Assist in product improvement and cost-reduction initiatives through design optimization.
- Support supplier coordination, part sourcing, and evaluation of mechanical components.
- Participate in factory, workshop, and site activities, including installation, inspection, and validation.
- Ensure designs and work comply with safety, quality, and company engineering standards.
- Prepare simple technical reports, test results, and improvement proposals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline.
- 13 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates with strong internship or project experience may be considered).
- Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
- Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Willingness to work in a hands-on engineering environment (factory, workshop, site).
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team.
- Willing to work in Pulau Meranti, Puchong.
