Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Microsoft Support Engineer to support customers using Microsoft solutions under our managed services.
This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants to learn Microsoft 365, cloud, and enterprise systems through practical, real-world experience.
Project implementation work will be introduced progressively, based on skill level and readiness.
What You Will Do
Core Responsibilities Managed Services (Primary Focus)
- Provide day-to-day support for Microsoft environments under maintenance contracts
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to:
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
- Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Windows Server and Active Directory
- Handle user account management, password resets, access rights, and licensing
- Perform routine tasks such as:
- System health checks
- Patch updates
- Backup verification and basic restore tasks
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and learn through hands-on support
- Update support tickets and maintain clear technical documentation
Exposure to Projects (Learning & Growth)
- Assist senior engineers in Microsoft project implementations, such as:
- Microsoft 365 migrations
- Active Directory / Entra ID setups
- Hybrid Exchange or SharePoint deployments
- Participate in testing, UAT, and post-go-live support
- Learn deployment best practices, documentation, and customer handover processes
What We're Looking For
Essential (Trainable Skills Welcome)
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of:
- Microsoft 365
- Windows OS and basic networking concepts
- Strong interest in Microsoft cloud and enterprise technologies
- Willingness to learn and take guidance from senior engineers
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Internship or part-time experience in IT support
- Basic knowledge of:
- Active Directory or Azure AD
- Microsoft Teams, Exchange, or SharePoint
- Exposure to PowerShell (even basic scripts)
- Microsoft Fundamentals certifications (MS-900, AZ-900)
