Support the sales team with basic lead generation, prospect research, and preparation of simple sales materials, proposals, and presentations for IT solutions including data centers, operational technology (OT) infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, and cybersecurity.
Experience selling datacenter products such as racks, structured cabling, and OT infrastructure solutions is a plus.
Assist in coordinating and participating in meetings, workshops, and product demonstrations with potential clients, both in person and virtually.
Help respond to basic customer inquiries and provide initial information on products and services.
Participate in discovery sessions with prospective customers to help identify business challenges and technical requirements under senior guidance.
Assist in designing and delivering simple proof of concepts, product demonstrations, and solution proposals tailored to customer needs.
Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support solutions across infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, and cybersecurity.
Provide basic technical guidance during the sales cycle, including helping with solution positioning, RFP/RFQ responses, and customer presentations.
Help prepare basic technical documentation, design blueprints, and sales support materials.
Support coordination with delivery and implementation teams for smooth post-sales handover.
Assist in solution pricing, TCO, and ROI analysis for proposals.
Contribute to cross-functional collaboration and basic project management activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in IT or a related field; graduates with internships in technical or sales support roles are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of enterprise IT technologies, such as virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), OS environments (Windows Server, Linux), cybersecurity concepts (e.g., identity management, Zero Trust), and OT infrastructure (e.g., SCADA, IIoT).
Knowledge of DC needs, rack, cabling, and OT infrastructure
Bachelors degree in computer science, IT Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic CRM tools.
Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to learn and engage professionally with clients and teams.
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings.
Compensation
Monthly salary range: MYR 5,000 to MYR 7,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This may include base pay plus performance-based incentives.
