Job Overview
We are seeking IT Project Managers to lead and support technology initiatives within the banking sector. Roles are available for both Junior (24 years experience) and Senior (5+ years with banking domain exp) levels.
You will manage project delivery, coordinate teams and vendors, and ensure compliance with banking regulations and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Junior IT Project Manager:
- Support end-to-end IT project delivery
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking milestones
- Coordinate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors
- Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as needed
- Prepare documentation, reports, and meeting minutes
- Support UAT, deployment, and handover to operations
Senior IT Project Manager:
- Lead complex IT projects with full ownership of delivery
- Define project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation
- Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security, and risk frameworks
- Drive project governance, steering committees, and senior stakeholder updates
- Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and post-implementation operations
Requirements
Junior Level:
- 24 years of experience in IT project coordination or management
- Exposure to banking or financial services projects preferred
- Basic understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work in a regulated environment
Senior Level (Banking Domain Mandatory):
- 8+ years of IT project management experience
- Proven experience delivering projects in banking
- Strong understanding of regulatory, risk, and control frameworks
- Experience managing large or complex IT initiatives
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Preferred for Senior role
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification
- Experience with core banking, digital banking, cybersecurity, or regulatory projects
