Junior Python Developer

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking for a Junior Python Developer to Join a globally recognized multinational banking corporation with a strong and established presence in Southeast Asia.You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications, contributing to the success of our digital initiatives and technology-driven projects.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python programming and have a keen interest in coding and troubleshooting. As part of the role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting business as usual (BAU) programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend meetings, understand and document business requirements for automation.
• Create automated solution / regression test suite using bank approved tools e.g. Tosca, Python, VB macro, Selenium, Appium etc.
• Create management data dashboards or visualization using Excel/Power Query/Power BI.
• Handle automated test execution as per the UAT plan.
• Identify potential scenarios for test automation.
• Ensure completion of UAT test execution within agreed timeline.
• Report defects, attend defect calls, retest and follow through to ticket closure. Escalate whenever necessary.
• Review UAT test results and publish test metrics.
• Provide post implementation user support and conduct walk through of the automated solution.

Key Requirements

• Good coding and analysis skill are preferred in this case. (Candidates may be asked to complete mini technical tests during interview.)
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with VB macros or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite in Kuala Lumpur.
