Part of your induction program will take place in our HQ in Tokyo/Japan and our RF development center in Morgan Hill/California USA. There will be growth opportunities as your experience grows.

About the Role

Reporting to the Field Application Manager.

Responsibilities

1. To be a Test & Measurement (T&M) technical expert, provides technical support to customers, and actively engage in Pre & Post Sales of Anritsu T&M solution in ASEAN and South Asia region.
2. Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Anritsu's T&M solutions to customers.
3. Install & setup test equipment in customer premises or test sites and provide training to customers.
4. Follow up customers technical issues, and work with relevant parties (Sales, Service, Factory, partners) to resolve accordingly.
5. Develop and customize test solutions (integration/automation).
6. Participate in marketing events such as roadshow, workshop, seminars.
7. Transfer knowledge and train Anritsu partners/ distributors.

Job Requirements

1. More than 2 years experience in either telecommunications / data centre / High speed bus interfaces / optical transceiver or optical components test and measurement, R&D, manufacturing, or relevant field.

2. Strong technical knowledge in any following fields:

a) Optical device (laser, photodetector)/Optical Transceiver fundamentals

b) High Speed communications (e.g. PCIe, USB, Display Port, DDR)

c) Telecommunication Fixed line networks (e.g., mobile xhaul, OTN, Ethernet, optical transceivers, submarine network)

3. Experience in operating any following test equipment type:

a) General purpose test equipment for optical devices (e.g., Optical Spectrum Analyzer, Optical VNA, Optical Power Meter)

b) PPG/BERT/Sampling Scope

c) Field Network/Transport tester (e.g., Ethernet tester, OTDR, BERT)

4. Proficiency in programming to remote control test equipment will be an added advantage.

5. Fluent in English, good presentation skills, respond emails professionally.

6. Ready to travel overseas up to 50% to support customer on-site.

7. Good team player, eager to learn, work independently, positive mindset with can do spirits.
