Job Brief
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications and APIs while working closely with internal teams and clients. This is a great opportunity for someone with a minimum of 3 years of experience who is eager to grow their technical skills and gain hands-on experience in software development.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance RESTful and SOAP APIs using C# and .NET technologies (.NET Core and .NET Framework).
- Support the integration of front-end applications with backend APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following development standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and system defects.
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system workflows and code references.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile development activities.
- Use Jira and other project management tools to track tasks and project progress.
- Support ongoing system enhancements, maintenance, and deployments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development using C# and .NET technologies.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or TFS.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in additional languages will be an added advantage, particularly in supporting communication with regional stakeholders and clients.
