Role Purpose
The Junior Video Editor supports Twenty-Four Consulting by editing short-form social media videos and official event videos that help build trust, credibility, and reach for the brand.
This role plays an important part in ensuring our video content reflects our professionalism as a training and consulting partner, especially for public sector, education, and enterprise audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Short-Form Video Editing (Primary Focus)
Edit short-form videos (main focus) for:
- Instagram Reels
- Facebook
- TikTok
- YouTube Shorts
Provide support for long-form videos for:
Apply:
- Creating clear, well-paced edits that are easy to follow
- Applying clean cuts and smooth transitions
- Adding subtitles and captions for clarity and accessibility
- Formatting videos correctly for each platform
2. Official & Event Video Editing
Edit official videos for:
- Training sessions
- Corporate events and workshops
- Internal or external communications
Produce:
- Event highlights
- Simple recap or after-movie videos
- Clean, professional full-length recordings (where required)
3. Content Preparation & Quality Control
- Ensure all videos meet brand tone and professionalism standards
- Organise raw footage, project files, and final outputs clearly
- Apply basic colour correction and audio clean-up when needed
- Check subtitles, audio levels, and visuals before delivery
4. Collaboration
Work closely with the Content Lead on:
- Editing briefs
- Revisions and improvements
Coordinate with operations or trainers for event footage requirements
What This Role Does NOT Own
- Content strategy or posting decisions
- Caption writing or copywriting
- Brand guideline development
- Performance tracking or analytics
